New website and pricing for 2010!

MiniColo has achieved great success in its first year and would like to thank our customers! To ring in the New Year, albeit a few weeks early, we have launched a new website and introduced new pricing. It’s our hope that this pricing allows us to welcome even more customers in 2010!
MiniColo signs with DataPoint

Yesterday we signed a contract with DataPoint (www.datapointinc.com) of Baltimore, Maryland for rack space in their Tide Point Data Center. I’m very excited to announce this as it further extends our East Coast Data Center footprint. A number of servers and and other networking equipment were moved to this facility yesterday from our old Annapolis, Maryland data center. We are now online and operational! Ping/traceroute tidepoint-200.securerad.com to test network throughput.
Xhost Plans Added

Server Monitoring at MiniColo

At MiniColo up-time is of utmost importance to our customers. That’s why we’ve implemented a Nagios-based monitoring system for our customers. Our Nagios monitors are located around the world (not in our data centers) and monitor your server. We’ll even include you on the E-mail that notifies us of an outage. We supplement our Nagios monitors with a monitoring service called Alertra. Alertra monitors our core routers at each data center. We publish our core router uptime, monthly, at MiniColo.net.
Free Hosted Mac Mini
